Modi told Iranian Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Ali Tayebnia that suitable ground has now been provided for mutual cooperation.
Referring to his meeting with President Hassan Rouhani on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization session in Russia, Modi said the meeting was very constructive and positive and he was very satisfied with the talks he had held with him.
Noting that Iran is a very important and influential country in regional and international cooperation, Modi said as two big and important countries in the region, Iran and India should strive for ending violence and extremism and restoring stability to the region. 
He added that with very good measures and reforms of Iranian government and Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, Iran’s economic conditions are improving.
Tayebnia for his part said Iran and India are seriously determined to expand mutual cooperation.
He said increase in Iran’s crude exports to India was among other pivots of talks with Modi.
