He said Beijing can help restore peace and tranquility to the region by playing a more active role in staging real and practical combat against Daesh.
Rezaie made the remarks in a meeting with a visiting Chinese delegation.
In the meeting, Rezaie underlined importance of improving regional interactions in order to stablish sustainable peace and security.
Iran, also, is ready to prepare due grounds for fostering cooperation with the Chinese Muslims to prevent penetration of the Takfiri groups in the region of Central Asia, he said.
