Jahangiri met Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika a few hours ago and they discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.
During the meeting in the Algerian capital, Jahangiri and Bouteflika underlined the need for the expansion of mutual cooperation.
On Wednesday, Jahangiri underlined that his visit to Algeria would take place in line with Tehran's efforts to remedy the crude prices in the international markets.
'We should find ways to prevent further sudden downfall of oil prices in the international markets,' Jahangiri told reporters before departing for Algeria for a two-day visit.
