Summoned by the United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP) and the Organization for Islamic Cooperation, the two-day meeting will precede a Civil Society Forum on Wednesday.
According to the director general for Multilateral Affairs at the Indonesian Foreign Ministry, Hasan Kleib, debates will focus on borders, the return of refugees, Israel's illegal settlements and Palestinian internal security.
Hasan Kleib recalled that Indonesia categorically supports the independence of that Arab nation, and the end to the conflict with the creation of two States.
The International Conference will also be attended by international experts and diplomats, whose opinion will be included in the recommendations to be presented at the UN.
