Irish ambassador, Brendan Ward met with the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and head of the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization Ali Abedzadeh.
According to the public relations department of the civil aviation organization, the two sides called for revision of MoU on air transport.
The two sides discussed and exchanged views on transfer of aviation knowledge, training on safety, security, and support.
Referring to unfair economic sanctions on Iran in recent years, volume of trade exchange between the two countries has been decreased dramatically to less than euro 50 million and grounds are now well prepared for both sides to broaden their scope of cooperation in renewable energy, oil, petrochemical, oil products, pharmaceutical drugs and medical equipment.
