“We felicitate the successful parliamentary elections accompanies with tranquility in Venezuela to the Venezuelan nation and government,” Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaber Ansari said while pointing to the participation of over 70 percent of eligible voters in the Venezuelan parliamentary elections on Wednesday.
He also pointed to Iran-Venezuela friendly and brotherly ties in different political, economic and parliamentary fields, and expressed the hope that the relation will be in line with the two countries’ interests.
