The Iranian minister sent a message to Hassan Al Rashid in which he had thanked the Ministry of Communications of Iraq (MoC) and the country’s operators in helping to facilitate and increase the quality of telecommunications during the Arbaeen rituals.
Vaezi added that the joint efforts will indeed be a perfect ground for boosting bilateral ties between the two ministries.
Moreover on Sunday Iranian President Hassan Rouhani also thanked the Iraqi government and nation for the Arbaeen ceremonies.
In his statement, which was submitted to Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi by Iran's ambassador to Iraq, Dr. Rouhani had admired the Iraqi government and nation for hospitality, good planning of the religious event and helping maintain the safety of the Iranian pilgrims, taking part in the Arbaeen rallies.
