In the current critical situation in the region, Palestine is the only promising issue that can bring unity between Islamic and Arab Ummah, Nakhleh said in an exclusive interview with IRNA.
Referring to the discord in the Islamic and Arab worlds, the Palestinian official said such discord hurts the issue of Palestine.
He further said the Islamic Republic of Iran has never stopped supporting Palestine and the Palestinian leaders hold regular meetings with the Iranian officials.
Iran's policy on different Palestinian groups is so transparent and there is no need to explain it, said he.
He then described Iran's stance on the Palestinian nation and resistance as great and prominent.
The Palestinian official called for cordial ties between the Islamic and Arab states, adding such ties will be established only when they halt any contacts with the Zionist regime.
