Brig. Gen. Hossein Dehghan who was talking in a phone call to Chief of the General Staff of the Army and the Armed Forces L. Gen. and the Armed Forces L. Gen. Fahd Jassem al-Freij on Tuesday, congratulated Syrian commander on Syria’s recent success against terrorist groups.
Both sides discussed the latest developments in defensive cooperation and bilateral and international issues of interest.
Dehghan voiced Iran’s willingness to continue its support to Syrian government and people against terrorism; “bright days await Syrian people,” Dehghan told Syrian commander through the phone conversation.
