During a special meeting of security agencies, Bortnikov said that the explosion of a bomb caused the crash of the civilian airplane on October 31st, in which 217 passengers and seven crew members died.
In the report to President Putin, the official indicated that an explosive device exploded in flight.
Such conclusions were validated by the analysis of the fuselage and the substances on the found objects, said Bortnikov during the session of the Security Council chaired by Putin.
