Vaezi who is in Moscow for the 12th Joint Cooperation Commission, attended the conference of ‘Iran in the second decade of the 21st century; challenges and prospects”.
During the conference he said Iran-Russia’s commonalities in the cultural and historical fields and their mutual opinions on different issues have provided grounds for further cooperation.”
The two countries enjoy historical links and cultural commonalties which should be preserved and conveyed to the next generation, an issue which is being followed by Iranologists and Russia’s Institute of Oriental Studies, he noted.
