Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was quoted by Iran’s state TV as saying that the execution of Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr, a Shia cleric and religious leader, would have heavy price for the Saudis. He was stating Iran’s official position against the stories on the media alleging that the Supreme Court of the Saudi Arabia had confirmed the death sentence by the primary court trying Sheikh Nimr.
