Mehr Abad flight information center said that the plane, a Sepahan Air flight bound for Tabas, took off at 9:18 AM local time and crashed minutes after in Azadi Township in Tehran.
At least 40 people, including children, are reportedly killed in the incident. Mehr News reached out Mehr Abad information center for details, and the center confirmed the crash. An eyewitness told Mehr News that the plane severely hit the ground and went ablaze.
