Boroujerdi who is the head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said that establishment of peace, stability and security in Afghanistan benefits all neighboring countries and requires their collective endeavor.
Boroujerdi stressed that the task of establishing security in Afghanistan should be entrusted to the Afghan people and the international community’s priority is to focus on helping Afghans reconstruct their country.
He described the upcoming presidential elections in Afghanistan as an opportunity for the Afghan nation to determine its own destiny.
