He made the remarks in the first meeting of the Supreme Council on Natural Environment Protection since he took office as the country’s president.
He also stressed the need for taking necessary measures regarding the sliding sands in order to stop the polluting phenomenon.
He said the foreign ministry has to fulfill its special responsibility and talk to other countries, Iraq in particular, on the issue.
