Iran has no red line for talks with western governments, MP

Abdolreza Mesri told IRNA that the presence of senior Iranian officials in New York for the UN General Assembly will be effective in promotion of Tehran’s interaction with the world.

He criticized the US for the efforts made in vain to isolate Iran over the past several years.

Referring to President Hassan Rohani’s travel to New York, Mesri said the Iranian President can talk to all nations to elaborate on Iranian international stand.

He added the meetings that will be held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly will have significant effect on Iranian international standing.

About Rohani’s talks with top western officials in New York, the lawmaker said the negotiations should be held under the mutual respect.

If the other side tries to impose its own policies, the talks will be doomed to failure, he noted.
