The IIPU subsidiary committee meeting which kicks off today is slated to evaluate the final statement of the 8th General Assembly Meeting of the IIPU and will last until Thursday.
The 48-member IIPU issued a 17-clause resolution after a two-day meeting of its 8th General Assembly in Khartoum in January.
The 8th General Assembly Meeting of IIPU was held in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum on January 21-22.
Parliament speakers and members from across the Muslim world attended the meeting. From Iran, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani took part in the meeting.
