The Iranian team of negotiators plans to offer a new proposals in the ongoing talks between Iran and the six world powers in Almaty, Kazakhstan, a source close to the talks revealed on Tuesday.

According to FNA dispatches, the informed source told reporters on the condition of anonymity that the new proposal is an updated version of what was offered to the world powers in the Moscow talks between Iran and the sextet in June, 2012.

The source added that the "Islamic Republic's principles of talks" have been kept in the proposal.

He further said that Iran's proposal has several versions and Iran will raise a version of the offer in accordance with the proposal to be raised by the opposite sides.

After a first round of talks in Almaty, Kazakhstan, spokesman of EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton who leads the delegations of the world powers in talks with Iran, said that representatives of Tehran and the Group 5+1 of powers will continue their current talks on Wednesday.

Michael Mann made the remarks on the sidelines of the first round of talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 (the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany) at a press conference in Almaty today.

Mann's remarks came after sources in Almaty yesterday told FNA that the talks might continue on Wednesday.

Iran's lead negotiator Saeed Jalili arrived in Almaty at the head of a team of negotiators on Sunday to attend the new round of talks with the six world powers.
