9th NIFF to screen Iranian films for foreign audience

 

 
The Noor Iranian Film Festival (NIFF), the first annual Iranian film festival competition occurring outside of Iran, was created to bridge the gap between Iranian and non-Iranian communities. Its goal is to shed "noor,"or light, on Iranian culture through the medium of cinema. 
 
The Official Selected Films for the 2016 Noor Iranian Film Festival have been divided into five categories including Animation Short (Kex & Kola In The Big City by Mahmoud Soltanpour; The Old Tree by Farnosh Abedi;…), Documentary Feature (33 Years Of Silence by Hossein Shamaghdari; I Want To Be A King by Mehdi Ganji;…), Documentary Short (ID by Hilda Hashempour; Mountain Bike Out Of The Box Iran  by Gregor Mahringer;…), Narrative Feature (Oblivion Season by Abbas Rafei; The Last Winter by Salem Salavati;…), and Narrative Short (Elegy by Yousef Kargar; It Hit Upon The Roof by Teymour Ghaderi;…).
