Managing Director of National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) Heydar Bahmani referred to the formation of post-JCPOA committees in the field of oil and gas drilling saying “considering the removal of sanctions, the committees investigate issues related to economic, technical, planning facets of negotiations with foreign firms pursuing the signing of contracts.”
“Over the recent months, talks have been made with more than 30 European and Asian oil delegations,” noted the official asserting “drilling industry and the use of modern technologies have been the main axis of negotiations.”
Bahmani evaluated Singaporean and Italian companies as well as some European oil firms as the most outstanding delegations; “they have all sought mutual cooperation with NIDC in oil and gas industries.”
