He made the remarks in a meeting with Fars Governor General Seyed Mohammad Ali Afshani here on Thursday afternoon.
Considering importance of these relations, he said that Luxembourg wants to expand and deepen relations with Iran and we hope to witness acceleration of this process.
Referring to Iran's nuclear deal with Group 5+1, Bartolomeo said we are more hopeful to increase our ties with Iran after the deal and we will try to accelerate the process.
He said that world today is in fact a global village and all countries need to establish relations with each other.
Bartolomeo said that primary investigations have shown that Luxembourg can enter negotiations with Fars Province in the fields of economic, academic and medicine, and added that also there are some commonalties in insurance system of the two countries which could be an issue for a kind of agreement.
