Talking in one of the courses he teaches on Sunday morning, the Ayatollah strongly condemned the heinous crime of the Saudi regime in killing the Shia cleric Sheikh Nimr and said the revenge of the Almighty will certainly befall the Saudi politicians.
The Leader went on to stress the need for the world to feel responsible towards this very particular crime as well as other ones of this nature being committed by Saudi regime in Yemen and Bahrain.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the martyred scholar never indulged in provoking public armed uprising nor was involved in secret plots but simply embarked on slamming the evil acts encouraged by religious fanaticism.
The Supreme Leader said the shedding of the blood of Shahid al-Nimr was a political miscalculation by the Saudi government and said the God will never neglect the blood which was shed unjustfully, so this act of Saudi Arabia will get back to its politicians and administrators.
He vigorously condemned the silence of those who claim advocating freedom, democracy and human rights and blasted their support for the Saudi regime which sheds the blood of innocent people only because they criticize and oppose its policies.
