Chairperson of Pakistan Senate committee on foreign affairs says relations with Iran mean a lot to Pakistan and Islamabad will never take any measure which could harm its cordial ties with Tehran.

Talking to IRNA Senator Nuzhat Sadiq said Pakistan want good and improved relations with all the neighbors including Iran, specially at a time when sanctions are about to be lifted. 'This is the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.'
“We don’t want strained relations with Iran that is for sure,” she said.
Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry held a meeting presided over by Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Nuzhat Sadiq to discus Pakistan’s joining the Saudi-led 34-nation coalition.
In the meeting, Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry emphasized that Pakistan is against any attempt to topple the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and fully supports the territorial integrity of Syria.
“We were being told in the session that the Pakistan would have its own terms of participation in the coalition,” she said.
