Talking about the cultural ties of Iran and Armenia, the Armenian Minister Hasmik Poghosyan said “Recently an exhibition of an Iranian-Armenian photographer was mounted in Yerevan on Iran and the two countries have also started to cooperate in the field of literature. Both the countries have almost boosted ties in all cultural and artistic fields and we tend to expand it to artists as well.”
“Joint music productions, trilingual Persian, Armenian and English books as well as Iranian-Armenian concerts are the fields we can work on”, she added.
Talking about the terrorist attacks in the Middle East, she said “I think no sane person will demolish his country’s historical works. Having a neighboring country like Iran, which is sensitive toward its heritage and cultural values, gives us power. I believe that agreements between Tehran and Yerevan municipalities will boost interactions.”
