Israeli forces have shot and killed another Palestinian in the occupied West Bank after accusing him of attacking Israeli soldiers at a bus station.
The shooting took place on Friday near the illegal Israeli settlement of Kfar Adumim in the central West Bank when the Palestinian allegedly slammed his car into Israeli soldiers, injuring two of them.
“A Palestinian car hit two Israelis standing by a bus station,” Israeli police said, adding that the Palestinian man, whose age and identity have not been revealed yet, was shot dead.
Earlier in November, an Israeli killed a Palestinian man near Kfar Adumim after it was alleged that the man driving a taxi tried to ram into people and attack them with a knife.
Friday’s violence comes amid deadly tensions between the Tel Aviv regime and Palestinians over the past weeks.
Israeli settler violence against Palestinians and their properties and Tel Aviv’s imposition on August 26 of sweeping restrictions on Palestinian entries into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) have intensified the tensions.
