Serbian National Assembly President Maja Gojkovic made the remarks ahead of her visit to Tehran on Monday. The two-day visit will come at the official invitation of Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani.
“The joint trade commission meeting that will be held in Tehran in the near future is of utmost importance. We are expecting that the meeting will review and evaluate all existing avenues for increasing economic cooperation in the fields of agriculture, trade, pharmaceuticals and tourism,” she said, while asserting that Iran-Serbia economic cooperation is mainly through trade and exchange of goods.
