China to finance $200m power project in Mazandaran, Golestan provinces
Managing Director of Mazandaran and Golestan Regional Power Company Hossein Afsali said on Sunday that China will finance construction of 13 power posts in northern provinces of Mazandaran and Golestan at 200 million dollars.
Golestan National Park
Golestan National Park, in Golestan province, is the oldest registered national park of Iran and a unique haven for wildlife. This park has placed more than 1350 herbal and about 302 animal species within its territories.
UNESCO chief visits Golestan Palace
Visiting Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Irina Bokova Sunday evening visited the cultural and historical complex of Golestan Palace in Tehran.
