US, Russia optimistic about Iran-G5+1 talks

US Secretary of State John Kerry and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov said on Monday that they are quite optimistic about the results of future talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and G5+1 in Geneva.

 

 
 
According to the website of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum, the two ministers made the remarks on the sidelines of the APEC meeting in Bali of Indonesia. 
 
In the meeting, the two ministers underlined that they hope the upcoming talks between Iran and G5+1 on October 15 would bear fruits and help remove concerns of the international community about Iran’s nuclear program. 
 
US Secretary of State John Kerry told reporters that some constructive decisions are expected to be made in Geneva meeting.
