Iran, South Africa to promote legal cooperation

Vice-president for legal affairs Elham Aminzadeh on Wednesday called on South African government to cooperate with the Islamic Republic of Iran on development of International Law and the International Humanitarian Law.

In a meeting with South African deputy minister of culture and art Rejoice Mabudafhasi, Ms. Aminzadeh voiced Iran's willingness to exchange experience with South Africa in the field of law.
Mabudafhasi, for her part, referred to numerous areas of cooperation between the two countries, saying, 'We are more interested to boost ties and interaction in all fields, especially in culture. We believe that enhancement of bilateral ties will benefit both nations. '
She hoped that memorandum of understanding on using cultural capacities for development of International Law would be signed during the upcoming visit to Tehran by the South African president.
