Hossein Amir-Abdollahian referred to the US ineffective measures in combating terrorist groups and in particular ISIL, and said, “there are serious doubts about the Americans' honesty in their counterterrorism strategies. Rather than concentrating their efforts on combating ISIL, the US seems to be seeking the return of its military presence to Iraq.”
