Behrouz Kamalvandi who was receiving Russian Nikolai Spassky the head of Rosatom told the press that he had discussed construction of two other nuclear power plants in the vicinity of Bushehr power plant. “We discussed the technical and legal issues of construction, and predict generation of 20 GW of nuclear power in the long run,” said he and that “however; the country should generate 8-15 per cent of its electricity as nuclear.”
