Egypt already invited Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani to the inauguration ceremony of its newly elected President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
Sisi, the former army chief who last year toppled Egypt’s first freely elected leader, Mohamed Mursi, won a landslide victory in last month’s election.
