“Enhancement of missile and anti-missile power and development of electronic war systems are among the achievements of the Navy,” Deputy Commander of Bushehr Naval Base for Logistical Affairs Abdolreza Mozaffari said.
“Designing the needed naval hardware and equipment, building Peikan, Joshan and Derafsh missile-launching frigates as well as Sina missile-launching warship which is now under construction, and designing and building subsurface missiles in different tonnages for various subsurface vessels like Ghadir-class submarines are among the other achievements of the Navy,” he added.
Mozaffari also said building Jamaran destroyer and designing the next generation of such destroyers under the names of Damavand and Sahand are among the other successful projects executed by the Iranian Navy experts.
