In a meeting with the head of Hormuzgan province Agriculture Jihad Organization, Alinaghi Salehi, the ambassador said that there is no obstacle in the way of promoting bilateral ties between the two Muslim countries.
“Therefore, we are keen to further enhance economic, cultural and commercial ties with Iran,” he said.
Referring to the progress made in the province, especially in the field of agriculture and producing various out-of-season agricultural products, he expressed Sri Lankan willingness to develop cooperation with private sector of the province.
