According to Russia Foreign Ministry report, the meeting was held here on Friday and the two sides discussed important issues of the Middle East region.
The issue of Syria was in the center of talks and they discussed Syria situation in detail.
The two sides also underlined joint efforts of all sides in Syria to end the crisis and beginning of a political settlement process in the country.
They called for international effort to hold Geneva Conference-2 and support peaceful settlement of Syria crisis.
