The Iranian president is to defend the legitimate rights of Iranian nation and is to prove that Iran respects rights of other nations, he said.
He added that the western governments should make sure that Iran never seeks proliferation of nuclear weapons and Iran should understand that the western states do not pursue regime change.
President Rohani is to leave Tehran for New York on Monday to deliver speech at the 68th UN General Assembly.
Iran has undertaken leadership of Non-Aligned Movement and the President is scheduled to deliver another speech at NAM Conference on Disarmament during his stay in New York.
