The issue was raised in a meeting between Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon Qazanfar Roknabadi and Lebanon's Economy and Trade Minister Nicolas Nahas on the sidelines of the second exclusive exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut.
The latest Tehran-Beirut trade and economic relations were reviewed during the meeting.
Roknabadi then appreciated support of Nahas and his ministry for setting up Iran's second trade-industrial exhibition in Lebanon.
Nahas, for his part, reiterated that setting up such exhibitions would pave the way for further expansion of all-out ties, particularly in the areas of trade and economy.
Over 70 Iranian companies are participating in the week-long Iran's exhibit opened in Beirut on April 11.
Iran and Lebanon enjoy cordial relations and have further expanded these ties in recent years.
The two sides have exchanged several delegations of high-ranking officials in the last three years.
