Speaking at the session, Governor of Iran’s Central Banks Valiollah Seif stressed promotion of Iran-Italy trade relation by strengthening banking cooperation; “Italy is eager to expand ties with Iran as great efforts have been made in this regard.”
CBI governor expressed hope for a bright future in cooperation between the two countries asserting “fortunately, the visit to Italy of Iranian president has brought about good achievements necessitating further bolstering of banking ties.”
“Fruitful negotiations were held with Central Bank of Italy Governor Ignazio Visco during the trip to the European country,” highlighted the official adding “currently, draft of an MoU for bilateral collaborations has been prepared which will be signed on the sidelines of the annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).”
Seif urged Italian bankers to foster the taken positive measures in areas of banking cooperation by pursuing objectives in continuous meetings of both countries’ bankers.
