According to the Sputnik News Agency, Russian Special Presidential Envoy on Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov said that Russia is interested in Iran and Saudi Arabia’s settling their differences, especially when they need to work together in issues regarding oil prices.
“We are interested that there is peace and agreement between them, especially now when we need to work together to solve important issues regarding oil,” Kabulov told RIA Novosti in a recent interview.
Moscow’s proposal to act as a mediator between Iran and Saudi Arabia to establish dialogue was accepted positively by Tehran, Kabulov said adding, “Our proposal remains on the table. The Iranians responded positively.”
