The Ambassador reviewed the Guard of honor and handed his credentials to Mr Aliyev, the Azerbaijani news agency Azertac reported.
The two sides had a conversation. The President said Azerbaijan is interested in developing cooperation with Mongolia in all fields, adding there is a good potential for doing this.
He also recalled with pleasure his meetings with the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj at various international events and their talks on the development of the bilateral relations.
He said the development of political and economic ties is important for the two nations and states.
Aliyev noted that cooperation between the business circles of Azerbaijan and Mongolia is not so active.
