Director of Shiraz Islamic Azad University for international affairs, Abdelhamid Amiri told IRNA Tuesday that preparatory works were made during Aydin University officials' visit to Shiraz.
The Turkish delegation in a meeting attended by chancellor of Shiraz Azad University presented a report on the educational and research history of Aydin University.
They were also briefed on the Shiraz university's capacities and achievements, Amiri said.
The official said that Shiraz Azad University welcomes mutual cooperation and signing agreements with the Istanbul University in various education and research fields such as holding short-term educational courses for students and exchange of instructors and students and organizing joint conferences.
