Considering the region’s sensitive condition, Sigrid Kaag called on Iran to extend its influence for controlling the incidents in Lebanon and establishing peace and stability in the country and region.
She hoped to complete her negotiations on regional security and Lebanon soon in Tehran.
Amir-Abdollahian, for his part, said that the Zionist regime’s measures in blindly assassinating fighters who defend the sovereignty and independence of Lebanon and Syria, adding that the expansionist policies of settlements and creating crisis in the region are the main factors of instability. “Tehran will support the security and stability of Lebanon and the region”, he added.
