Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs Amir Hossein Zamaninia pointed out the latest status of sanctions removal stating “key steps have been taken to implement JCPOA and it is estimated to become operational by mid-January due to the presence of foreign oil companies in Tehran eager to launch cooperation with Iran."
Zamaninia maintained that the activities of Iranian drilling companies will soar six months after the lifting of international sanctions; “accordingly, due measures must be taken in this regard in order boost activities in oil industry.”
“During the sanction years, National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has grown exponentially in scientific and technical fields,” noted the official expressing hope that the trend will continue in conjunction with world top companies after the implementation of JCPOA.
