During a telephone conversation on Monday which took place upon the initiative of the Iranian minister, the parties discussed the current situation in the Middle East, primarily the prospects for settling the Syrian crisis on the basis of the Geneva Communique of 2012. The two ministers agreed to continue coordinating Russian-Iranian efforts in implementing the Vienna agreements, including the compilation of a list of terrorist groups operating in Syria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia reported.
