Mohammad Hassan Talebian told Mehr News Cultural correspondent that in a letter to Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), “we have announced preparation to host ISESCO Special Committee meeting soon, to which the head of Cultural Heritage Organization agreed,” he added.
“ISESCO’s different committee meetings will be hosted by Iran; we proposed that the Hajj pilgrimage ritual be registered as a world heritage item in the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List, for realization of which all Islamic countries should contribute,” Talebian told Mehr News.
