Bahareh Salehi, a PhD student at Shahid Beheshti Medical Sciences University, who is the lead author of the study said an enzyme-based sensor has been designed using silver nano-particle for selective diagnosis of penicillin.
The silver nano-particles facilitate transfer of electron between elements of the biosensor and boost its precision and speed, she said.
