Gas exporting countries should play vital role in global decisions: President Rouhani

President Hassan Rouhani has said that the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) should play a pivotal role in making global decisions.

 

 
Addressing the 15th ministerial meeting of the GECF, President Rohani stressed Sunday evening that the forum
 
could play an effective role in global issues due to the significant role of gas in development of clean energy worldwide. 
 
 
 
He expressed hope that as the present GECF secretary general, Iran could play an important role in coordinating the forumˈs goals and its achievements.
