Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said Iran is optimistic about an imminent halt in Saudi-led air strikes in Yemen later on Tuesday.
Amir-Abdollahian, while pointing to Iran’s consistent urge for a halt to Saudi invasion of Yemen, said representatives of the Riyadh-led coalition have so far rejected Iran’s proposals on ceasefire in the Arab country in Southwest Asia.
