He made the remarks at a joint press conference with Syrian Ambassador to Iran Adnan Mahmouda held at Iran Cultural and Press institute.
Al-Sheikh noted that many Iranians have volunteered to go to Iraq to sacrifice their lives for defending the holy sites against the raids of Daesh (the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) terrorist group.
