The ‘Days of Contemporary Iranian Cinema’, opened May 25, 2014 with several Iranian officials as well as film enthusiasts in attendance, Iran Daily wrote in its Saturday edition.
Yuri Kalasov, deputy head of the Russian Syndicate of Cinematographers, said, “The Iranian cinema is known as ‘a cinema with special elements’ in the world, and is popular in the Russian art and cultural society.”
